Facilities
State-of-the-art laboratories are located at the medical school
and in the Biological Sciences Building on the Main Campus.
Additional laboratories at the medical school campus are located in
the Karmanos Cancer Institute, the Mott Center for Human Growth and
Development, the Elliman and Lande buildings, and the Detroit
Veterans Administration Hospital. Core facilities for automated DNA
sequencing, bioinformatics, high-throughput robotics, DNA microarray
and other genomics technologies, fluorescence microscopy, and tissue
culture are supported by the Center. Fully computerized libraries
are located adjacent to both the medical school and the Biological
Sciences Building.
