Quick Look • Graduated from Madurai Kamaraj University with MS in Biotechnology • Currently a student in the PhD program (Bioinformatics and Computational Biology) As a graduate student, I was drawn to the new PhD program with a concentration in bioinformatics and computational biology at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics. The Center provides an excellent environment to enhance my knowledge and understanding for the application of informatics tools towards problems in bioinformatics and systems biology. The Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics and the Department of Computer Science have an established core of researchers working collaboratively on projects in bioinformatics and computational biology and this provides an ideal training environment to further my expertise.
