Cassidy Measner graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN in 2016 with a BS in Psychological Sciences and minors in Biology and Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, Cassidy was a member of the McNair Scholars Program, through which she conducted and presented research about the duty to warn in genetic counseling. In addition, Cassidy served as the lead tutor for Student Support Services, where she assisted students with disabilities and students from low-income backgrounds in their biology and psychology courses. Cassidy also served as a genetic counseling intern and had opportunities to shadow genetic counselors in the Minneapolis region which solidified her interest in the field. In her free time, Cassidy enjoys crafting, exploring the Detroit area, and watching movies.
