Marissa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Windsor in 2015 with a specialization in Biology and French. During her time at Windsor, she volunteered for 3 years as a Peer Support Counsellor, and worked for the Student Success Centre as an Orientation Coordinator. In 2016, she completed a Masters in Management of Applied Biological Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, she volunteered at McMaster Children Hospital’s Prenatal Genetics Clinic in Hamilton, ON, and worked on a project with Community Living London. She is thrilled to finally get to pursue a career in Genetic Counselling at WSU with such a great group of fellow students.
